Deputy Technical Manager

The Radlett Centre is 300 seat multi-purpose venue situated in Radlett, Hertfordshire. We are looking for a Deputy Technical Manager to join our small but dynamic team.

Working closely with the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and successful running of the theatre’s performances, workshops and events, including the yearly Pantomime, running shows individually at times as well as in conjunction with the Technical Manager and other technical staff.

The successful candidate will have good experience in theatre lighting and live sound, with excellent knowledge of up-to-date technologies and practices, and will be expected to work evenings and weekends.

Contract: Casual Technician. No minimum hours required.

Application Deadline: This is an open rolling recruitment, with no fixed deadline.

With a busy and varied programme of events to support, our Technical team is a vital part of the successful running of the theatre. We are happy to receive applications from those with previous technical experience, as well as those who are looking to develop their skills further to provide support for our in-house programmed shows and theatre hires. This will include lighting, sound, and AV work.
